What is Governance
- Governance covers all of the methods that societies use to distribute power and manage resources
- Governance is how institutions that collect and use power work together in a country
- Good Governance will ensure global harmony and world peace
Objectives
- To motivate and develop interest in women to develop personal and leadership skills
- The role of NGO Sector to form a critical mass to move forward
- NGO’S and Governments striving to work in collaboration
- Facilitate women to achieve higher positions in Government by empowerment
Participants
- Young women (aged between 21 - 30) who are members of PPSEAWA and are potential leaders or as identified by PPSEAWA Chapters
- Country Chapter Leaders of PPSEAWA or NGO leaders who play an important and dynamic role in their communities

Expected Output
- As well as meeting the objectives of the workshop a mechanism will have been created to improve women’s skills, knowledge and experience to take up roles and responsibilities in positions of responsibility.
- Promote and create new partnerships in government, business, non-government and community groups which are more effective.
