After our Fall meeting at Susannah Wesley on 9/5/18, we learned about their Victims of Sex Trafficking Program. We felt that this was an area we PPSEAWA Hi women could help in some way. Together with donations of money and personal items, volunteers from friends and relatives, an appeal went out to all PPSEAWA Hi members to help do the shopping for items needed to fill HOPE bags to be given to the victims who are being helped by SWCC . Our enthusiasm for this project gathered momentum after our Board Meeting, and we left with plans and personal visions of how we could make a contribution to aid this worthwhile project.
The PPSEAWA-Hi Board has been meeting regularly and working diligently to keep our Hawaii chapter active and meaningful. Please consider joining us at our Member’s meetings to keep our legacy alive and well - after all, we just celebrated 90 years in existence!
