PPSEAWA Malaysia hosted a United Nations International Peace Day 2018 celebration at the Pullman Hotel Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur. President Datuk Rahmah Abdul Hamid gave the welcome speech. Guest speaker Prof Dr Suresh Govind spoke about women's role in peacekeeping. In attendance were 50 guests consisting of PPSEAWA members and 10 single mothers from the People’s Housing Project (PPR) in Pantai Dalam.
