PPSEAWA Fiji has an ongoing project to brighten the future for children on to the small island of Vio, just off Lautoka. Last year, they received a grant from the Leadership Fiji Community Fund (LFCF) to bring 19 student desks and chairs, as well as a table and chair for the supervisor, for the Children’s Education Resource Center. All items are collected and then taken by boat to Vio.
PPSEAWA Fiji organized a book drive from September 15 - October 15, 2021 to benefit PPSEAWA Vio Island Homework Centre. The books for students from kindergarten through grade 12 came from individual donations as well as from Nadi Rotary Club on behalf of Library International Australia and Rotary Australia Fiji Project.
